It's just sick that eyes are willingly closed to this infiltration, esp in colleges and universitites here in FL, not only that, but "promoting" a faltering class taught by this terrorist. Sick.

From Brogan's bio-- "Frank T. Brogan became the fifth President of Florida Atlantic University in March 2003. Before becoming President of FAU, he served as the 15th Lieutenant Governor of the State of Florida."
I wonder if Jeb has any leverage here.

The Fulbright program and Florida Atlantic University can thus congratulate themselves on promoting militant Islamic indoctrination by a man connected to terrorism. They are.

Ah, academics. You can always count on them to come through for their friends. Or to do something colossally stupid because they're so out of touch with reality.

Maybe we can do what Britain is doing w/ Mr. Hook(I forget his name) and petition him out of the country.

I majored in political science may years ago. If I were a student at FAU today, I would most certainly enroll in this "professor's" course, and I would be his worst nightmare.

Hey there are still true native Floridaians living here and we don't have anything to do with south Florida.

Islamikazi bump. My father was shocked by the size of a Muslim elementary school we drove by here in Broward County Florida.

Anti-American & Anti-Israel statements by Liberal Arts collge faculty is all the rage. You don't win friends on campus by being a conservative.
In my own experience it was several years after graduation that the brainwashing wore off. At least there's one thing I can thank Clinton for.

I never accepted the brainwashing by supposedly "politically correct" afro-asian culture hawksters in school/college. Mostly though on campus you'll find everyone more APATHETIC than liberal.

Dear livius,
In light of your post about the denizens of the Grove of the Academe being out of touch with reality, perhaps you will like this quote from Alfred North Whitehead, "The secret of the mediocrity of the academic community is it's second handedness."
Alas, it is not just in the area of "Middle East Studies", as the "Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Program" is based on faulty premises cobbed together by all too many scientists with little actual time in the habitats.
Instead, they rely on computer models. And we all remember the "global warming weather model that predicted summer rainfall in the Central Sahara as equal to that of Ireland, don't we?
Forgive me, but I couldn't resist trying the following:
A model we shall write,
A model we shall write,
Heigh Ho, the money O,
A model we shall write.
:) :) :)

LOL!
"Heigh ho, the money O!"
I think that about sums it up. The unfortunate thing is that this money is never tied to something as simple as their "models" actually ever being proved correct. They just go out and do a new one for the next round of funding.

Being from Florida and also having lived in North Carolina, it seems to me that most people do not realize that there are two 'invisible' states; North Florida and West Carolina.
When you travel through these four states you can see the different ideologies in each. North Florida is so different from South Florida... West Carolina is so different from North Carolina; they all ignore each other...
