A Nigerian from the south was telling me it's getting to be really bad over there --- because of Islam, the north is poor and backward and because of Islam the men take several wives and sex slaves and often beat them. The women escape to the south where monogamy is the norm, but that causes problems in the north where it's 4 or more wives for 1 man --- obviously against God's ratio which is 1 to 1, the south ends up with more women wanting a better quality husband, and if they don't get that they at least can work a nice job and be more than a sex slave.

The north resents the south extremely because of higher standards of living in the south which is brought with Christianity, monogamy, and all the rest.

The higher standard of living also comes from the fact that christians/westerners usually believe that God helps those who helps themselves... while muslims mostly seem to think everything, EVERYTHING should be done by Allah.
