I would not settle with just calling the police. Call the cable company and ask what they know. If they are not really sure that everything was OK then insist that they come and check the connections at the polls that were involved. They could have planted something there. Tell them that if they do not and something happens then it will be there necks on the line.

Regarding mindspys post. Could these guys install something in the cable system to inject there own broadcasts at the time they desire. In otherwords "Spike" the broadcast.
