I know my last comment probably sounds overly pious. I don't normally consider myself to be one of those people who have a great deal of faith, nor to be particularly physically brave. However I can't explain it - somehow I've been given a wonderful sense of peace that He is in control and that things will work out for His people, if not in this life then in the next.
However I'm still a bit of an insomniac as well ... not because of any kind of worry however - for some years I've had trouble sleeping for more than a few hours at a time & often get up to do things in the middle of the night & then go back to sleep.
