Here's more:

South Main-- South of downtown and midtown is the Museum District and Hermann Park. This is a lovely part of town with lots of green space. Most of the museums are set closely together within a few blocks of each other. Here also are the Houston Zoological Gardens and the Rice University campus. On the south side of the park begins the Texas Medical Center. A bit further south is a complex of buildings holding the new Reliant Stadium, the old Astrodome, and the AstroWorld and WaterWorld amusement parks. There are many hotels in this part of town to suit all budgets. The location is quite convenient. It's close to downtown, to Uptown, and to the restaurants and shops of the Kirby District.

Not that it matters, but Uptown, Montrose, and the Kirby are my favorites. Man, I'd hate for us to lose any part of Houston.

Good info. I remember a while back when everyone was running to the twexus site that one of the pictures
(I do not remember the word used to look up the picture) found had, among the many words and phrases attached to it, the phrase:Select Six Flags. This was right after EOM said he was coming across the border from Mexico I believe.
