Sawyer picked on Judy Dean not using her husband's name professionally. Judy Dean said nicely, at home I'm just Judy Dean. Professionally, I'm Dr. ??? (I can't remember her name). Lots of women in professions keep their maiden names because of the recognition. It's not a big deal. Yep -- we don't see Diane Sawyer going by the name Diane Nichols, or hanging out at her husband Mike Nichols' movie sets every day. To say the least, it was hypocritical for her to attack Dean's wife for her choice of names, and her choice to keep her job.
