We won't even deport illegal alien felons, who really believes we will ever send back one "temporary" guest worker?
Anybody who beieves that, I have a bridge to sell...cheap.

I didn't SAY that CLOSING THE BORDER is vague, I said the PLAN is vague. Nobody offers details. Without details, it's VAGUE. Not only is it vague, it's not even a PLAN. Close the border HOW, exactly, especially when every attempt toward that end winds up in court? ALTERNATIVES. You can't give detailed alternatives without learning and understanding every aspect of the problem. Lack of detailed alternatives is vagueness. Please stop snarling and begin discussion, or you'll lose this debate.
Ah, beauty. Anyone who opposes the amnesty has to either come up with a democrat-grade Policy Book, or STFU and go away.
If you think that sort of nonsense of gonna get your guy re-elected, you're delusional. Seriously.

Just because the majority of carjackers are minorities, should we then stop enforcing the law against stealing cars at gunpoint? Should the carjackers be allowed to keep the cars they have stolen just because they are a member of a "minority group"? Only if we want to be "compassionate".
Remember, carjackers are people too, and they have families to feed, bills to pay, and so on. Isn't it better to bring them into the system, get them paying taxes, using the banks, paying for insurance, and so forth? Why should we stigmatize them?
As Tom Ridge might put it, "As a country, we have to come to grips with the presence of eight to 12 million illegal carjackers, then decide as a country what our process is and enforce it."
We need to make these people legal and then enforce the new laws (i.e., regulate carjacking, so that we can manage it, instead of allowing the present chaotic situation to continue.)

It's not amnesty. You're using the wrong word and will therefore lose the argument. Hahahahahahahahahah!
Oh, my achin' sides!
Hi, Bill.
Thanks for that continuing lesson in "what 'is' is."

Memo to Rove/Bush: Arrogance is a vice. Memo from President Rove: The natural right of kings is to rule.

How are they going to enforce such rules as this when they can't enforce the present immigration laws? Don't be silly. It'll be like the Brady Bill and every other exercise in incrementalism.
The instant the bill is signed, the movers and shakers will herald it as "a good first step."
It will doubtless require "refinements", i.e., an "non-amnesty 2", to "close the loopholes". Then we'll have "better enforement".
(Remember, the less there is to "enforce", the easier it is to "enforce".)

If he signs any form of an amnesty or so-called "assault weapons ban" extension, they will be Strike Two and Strike Three, and I will NOT vote for him. Since he's on record as saying he will sign the extention, and, he's personally pushing for the amnesty, I'd wager that you won't have too much trouble figuring out what to do on election day.

I'm pretty sure I'm typing in English, so I'll try ONE MORE TIME: UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE ARGUING ABOUT, OR NOBODY WILL TAKE YOUR ARGUMENT SERIOUSLY AND YOU WILL LOSE. 1. Stop screaming, it's rude.
2. I hate to be the one to break this to you, but plenty of people do take his argument seriously, and it's looking more and more like it's President Rove who'll be losing the debate -- in November.

B4Ranch - Im with ya all the way - we need to start electing conservatives or heck any politician that will listen to the people on this issue. Send the illegals packing and enforce our border. Companies that hire illegals should be prosecuted ASAP.

The citizens' initiative: Requires proof of citizenship when registering to vote.
Requires proof of identity when voting.
Requires proof of eligibility for non-federally mandated public benefits.
How utterly racist!
No compassionate "conservative could ever consider such baseless tripe!

B4,
Is joke.
He lists six issues, I say One Issue Malcontent!
Sort of a parody of certain someones.
To: B4Ranch
The illegal alien issue has several major sub-issues that are major issues of their own.
Rule of Law would be one.
Will of the people, another.
To: the gillman@blacklagoon.com
Social engineering of a nation is another.
