FALSE PREMISE ALERT

Islam has no soul. It is a fake religion dreamed up by a charlatan hundreds and indeed thousands of years after the true 'world religions' were founded and developed. It is a cult just as is Mormonism or Jehovah's Witnesses.

Indeed the same thing could be said of Christianity. Hinduism and judaism are the only truly ancient religions and if God 'is' ... he is indeed ancient. Of all the offshoot cults one can make excuses for Christianity as it is actually reformed judaism where the others (budhism) are more heretical if not wholly corrupt in nature.

Christianity holds to everything that is judaic and adds only one precept that is nowhere forbidden in the original writings. That God could come down to earth in the form of a man. Islam rewrites the much older Torah and accompanying texts at will and with abandon.

Islam is wholly corrupted Judaism and this is textually provable. Their manuscripts have been endlessly rewritten and they have nothing like the Dead Sea Scrolls to verify their claims. Indeed, Islam can be anything the differing schism want it to be. The same cannot be said of Christianity because the original text can be examined whereas islam has many differing texts and none truly ancient or able to make the calim of 'very close' to the original.

It is a religion that cannot withstand modern thought or criticism. It wholly depends on an illiterate and unquestioning population to thrive. This is why the Moslem must hate the westerner. The West is death to Islam for it brings science. Science will easily pick apart the flimsy fabric of Islam and expose it as the childish heresy of Judaism it has always been.

Well, I disagree with you. But it's much too big a topic to argue. I'd just make three or four points.

1. Christianity claims to be the fulfillment if Judaism. It accepts the entire Old Testament as divine revelation and claims that Jesus is the Messiah promised by the Hebrew prophets.

2. Christianity was not originally a powerdrunk, opportunistic religion like Islam. Jesus did not carry a sword or kill and enslave people. Muhammed did.

3. Christianity nowhere tampers with or changes anything in the Hebrew Bible. Jews are free to disagree that Jesus was the Messiah, but Christianity doesn't try to go back and retroactively change what the Hebrew prophets said. Reinterpret, yes, but not change the original words and facts. Islam does. The Qran frequently differs from the Hebrew Bible on important facts of fact and history.

4. Finally, I believe it can be argued that although Christians have at times resorted to violence like everyone else, they are not following religious commandments when they do so. Muslims are.
