Kerry doesn't worry me at all. He has a well-documented liberal voting record, and liberals from Massachussetts are not particularly attractive in the South or in flyover country.

He talks like a snot, which in fact he is.

Senator Kerry often speaks of his war record and his military service during the Vietnam war.

Will research this further...first I've heard of it.

Please don't forget that he was PeeWee Dukakis' Lt. Governor.

I didn't remember that. Now, that's not going to help him any.

I'm still not convinced that he's going to win the nomination. He'll win NH on Tuesday, but I doubt he wins South Carolina. It's entirely possible that nobody will have clinched the nomination before the convention.

The frontrunner is ALWAYS the #1 target of the ambush artists of the media, and all the other candidates. It is something I call the "crab bucket" syndrome. One crab, in a bucket, can generally manage to lever and scramble out by itself. But two or more crabs, trapped in the same bucket, will never manage the same escape. Should one crab reach a point near the top, the remaining crabs further down will pull it back, in their own efforts to scramble a little higher on the heap. As a result, none can ever leave, even though by exerting an individual effort unemcumbered by the others, they could, one by one, crawl out to freedom. Or as much freedom as a crab knows.

Seeing how the recession began in March of 2000, do you think a man who doesn't know this is electable?

The bubble burst on the economy almost to the day of the Microsoft Anti-Trust verdict.

This makes me sick!

Why have I even heard Fred Barnes call him a war hero?

There were some who felt this act was not deserving of such an honor.

Lot of medals in Vietnam were of the political type to officers who needed them for promotion

That was told to me by Green Berets and other veterans of that war

I had mentioned to one that Tom Ridge won the Bronze star and he said it is meaningless without a Purple Heart

Unfortunately it cheapens the medals for those that rightly deserved them

"A Kerry and Edwards ticket could be quite formidable, particularly if the hammer jobs and the deficit. "

Dean may not make it as a candidate but as a Doctor he successfully made the other Dems more formitable with a gonad transplant. Methinks Clark and Gephardt also might emerge.

Kennedy was a supply sider before the term was coined, he was a conservative by today's standards. Kerry is a flaming socialist.

Not many, we still are hemorrhaging good paying jobs. There has been some job growth but those have been for the most part MCJobs. The lack of new good paying jobs will be a big issue in this election.

You want to know the scary part about this. When you factor in the pill bill and the amnesty. JFK's domestic agenda was arguably more conservatives then GWB's is looking. And that is just plain wrong!!!

Chasing down and killing a wounded enemy soldier could very well have been justified, depending on the circumstances. A wounded soldier, allowed to get into shelter with his weapon, could still represent a deadly threat. I don't know whether it deserves a silver star for bravery; it sounds like a pretty routine action.

The more serious problem is that John McCain and John Kerry took advantage of their positions as veterans and "war heroes" to betray our POW/MIAs in Vietnam.

That was inexcusable. Treachery of the worst sort, to comrades as well as country.

That's the gruel the liberals try to spoonfeed us. Jobs are created here everyday. Many people who have been laid off will never work for some one else again, they become self-employed. Despite the recession, corporate scandals, 9-11, the unemploument extensions which encouraged people to work for cash and stay unemployed, and the liberal attacts at the economy the employment rate stayed at least at 94%. Many of these people work 2 jobs! How could this be ripe for attack by the Democrats? Bring it on!
