It can make one feel like a vulture sometimes, but I have to remind myself that I didn't cause the situation. If this type of reasoning helps you sleep at night, fine. I believe in giving people fair market value for their property, even if they're old and have a lien. What is liberal and communist about that?
If I had a job that made me feel like a vulture for even one day I would get in another line of work.
The information below came from researching the County Recorders Offices
The individual who purchased the property @ 1057 Quill Rd. Copperopolis, Ca 95228 is
Robert Vardanega. P.O. Box 1151 Alameda, CA 94501
He purchased the property at public auction on the Calaveras County court house steps
December 18, 2003 for the sum of $70,000. On the very next day his wife Mei Na Zu,
filed an inter-spousal quick deed transfer.
In my search of County Recorder Offices on-line I found Robert Vardanega in 8 of the Counties that offer on-line capabilities they are.................

Also for the record the tax lein was for a relativly small amount and arrangements had been made with the I.R.S to pay off their lien. THE I.R.S. LIEN WAS NOT A THREAT TO THE COUPLE.
