Well, if the Pharisees believed in people being grown up enough to enter into legal contracts with each other without government stepping in when one party decides to bail, then count me in.

Let me give you a better answer. As I am sure you know, the Pharisees were folks that insisted on the letter of the law, not the spirit of righteousness. Hence my post to you last night.

As was pointed out by another poster, the person that bought the house promptly did a inter-marital deed transfer.

Why would he need to do that if he adhered to the letter of the law?
