What's your point?

That having a loved one die tragically does not entitle anyone to a free ride.

Where in the article does it say anything about a free ride? Or do you have something against Ilan Ramon's widow in general?

Don't worry about the bill for her ticket. I am sure you're not paying for it.

We get space a privledges on military aircraft which is a free ride. But in her case maybe she paid for it herself or her government paid for her flight since she was a widow of someone in her country's airforce. I know they get free housing and benefits. Their country doesn't abandon veterans.

The hell it don't. Or is it the fact that it was a Jew that got a free ride really bothering you?

I'm sure the Israeli government footed the bill. Widows of fallen national heroes usually get a few perks including a free trip from Houston to Israel, probably on el-Al. I don't think the NASA Gulfstream has the range to go transatlantic.

What are you talking about? She is an Israeli, just like her husband who died on Columbia. Of course she is going to return home.

Perhaps you think NASA should have cut her off immediately after her husband's death. Ya know, once he died, he was no longer part of NASA and she has no connection to the space program. She can buy her own ticket to Texas so she can pick up his body.

Think before you post.
