Wow! Would be interesting to see who purchased it. My only guess would be cable talk host bought and will use it after Kerry wins the nomination. The $355.00 might be pennies compared to the additional ad dollars earned for increased viewers. I may even tune in to see Kerry's' face when presented the book on TV.

A photo of Jane Fonda at an anti-war rally, with John Kerry seated two rows behind her, is available from stock photography supplier Corbis Images. See: www.corbis.com, search for: jane fonda september 1970, or image # EF 001345
Enjoy.

If you go to
http://www.johnkerry.com you can learn his slant and it will answer a few questions here. I have lots to say, but don't want to start screaming yet. I will put together a website and have it ready by May. You should enjoy it. and I will post the link here.

The Kerry/Fonda photo has not vanished. Quite the opposite. It is being freely circulated, illegally, world wide on the web. The photo is the copyrighted property of Leif Skoogfors, and these unauthorized uses are in direct violation of copyright laws of the United States. If you or anyone wishes his/her own copy to have and hold for personal use, contact Mr. Skoogfors' picture agency, corbis.com. On a personal note, if in fact Mr. Kerry did oppose the war in Vietnam, he was not alone. Those of us old enough to remember, or those who paid attention in high school history class, will know that 75%of the American people felt the same at the time. But even if Mr. Kerry opposed the war, at least he served his country honorably and was not AWOL, as Mr. Bush apparently was, vis a vis his year of no shows at the post in Alabama.
Respectfully submited.

Pitiful. This one starts with a law lecture, and ends with a "personal note."

"Those of us old enough to remember, or those who paid attention in high school history class, will know that 75%of the American people felt the same at the time."I would be really interested in finding out where he got the 75% number from.
On a side-note, when the anti-war protestors came to protest the Dow Chemical Company (maker of components of napalm) stockholders meeting which was held in my junior high school auditorium, the band members and the jocks got together and decided to do something about it. Two of the guys on the football team lived on a chicken farm well outside the city limits and, for about two weeks before the meeting, collected all of the old, undiscovered eggs that hadn't been gathered up in the morning collections. Between those and about three bushels of well-ripened (aka, almost rotten) tomatoes, one band member lifted the only set of keys to the roof from the custodian's room. About 15 of us went up on the roof with our ammunition before the opening of classes or the meeting. At the height of the protest we humped it all to the edge of the roof and began chucking it at the demonstrators. Many of the eggs were fertilized (and now well-nigh rotten), which lent a sulpherous tinge to the whole affair.
We didn't come down until after the meeting (and the protest) had ended. Each of us were suspended for three days, but, by God, it was well worth it.
The Battle of Midland was definitely a victory for the good guys.
