California has a cancer. Only surgery, preferable with a chainsaw, will heal it. I see no reason to borrow more money that we'll have to pay back when the politicians will simply squander it. Better to see the whole system come crashing down on their pointy heads. We should reject this new round of taxes and force these "Armageddon" cuts.

I think California is a huge unintended distraction for what Bush is doing with the entire country right now...First he throws us a bone, then he flips us the bone.
