I'd like to encourage you to rephrase that point. We certainly killed non-combatants in WWII. It was arguably a critical component to our victorious strategy.

The difference is that we had just cause.

...and the intentional killing of non-combatants, even durring combat, is against all conventions. And should be. It is, in fact, the definition of terrorism

but I get your point. A factory producing military hardware is obviously a legitimate target. And civilians will die. OK...I would refraise it, but I have to go.
