Wonderful thread, serurier! Thank you for the message the pictures give us. The men and women from so many countries are fighting for our freedom. And you are right. Freedom will win!

The Canadian Forces are fantastic and deserving of more respect than that. Their govt., well...

Thank you for the pictures, and welcome!

A recent article on this forum claimed the Canadian Army would pretty much cease to exist in a couple of years because of the drastic cuts the government has imposed. As I said before, I suppose humor just does not translate...

No, I wasn't offended at all... I think I was just sad. There was a time when we could count on Canada. I prefer your humor, though, so I'm sorry if I miscommunicated.

Great post serurier, I'm very curious (want to know) how you found out about FreeRepublic in China.
I thought all internet access is controlled in China through their proxy servers, especially foreign news sources.
Anyway welcome, if nothing else you may at least learn more english here :)

The Canadian forces are looking around for their rooms. They thought they were going on vacation. Criticize the Canadian government if you want, but don't you criticize their soldiers. I imagine you are one of the ignorant ones who haven't heard of the exploits of Canadian snipers in Afghanistan. They kicked some Taliban butt.
