The territory thing ... I didn't know that.

Some of the translations over on www.memri.org indicate they want to retake Constantinople and ... Rome. They don't like it one bit that the seat of Catholicism is on territory briefly occupied by Muslim invaders.

I found this article on the MEMRI site where some jihadists are predicting Islamic control of Rome and Istanbul at some point in the future. But when was Rome ever occupied by Muslims in the past?
