Mrs Blair needs to keep her nose out of what does not concern her in the culture and way of life in the US.

It is well known that, with the recent rocketing crime figures and the liberal and ineffectual criminal 'justice' system over here in the UK, that 75 % of the general population wish for the death penalty to be re-instated, and have done so for many years. It is only our 'liberal' so called representatives in the Government (of both colours, I have to say) who deny us a proper vote this. This is on the grounds that 'they know better' and 'it is incompatible with the EU legislation'.

This is the fabled 'human rights' legislation that is now blocking up our courts and preventing us from sending the dross of illegal immigrants back to where they came from on the grounds that they may receive unjust and inhumane treatment if they are returned!!!!(and thereby posing a serious security threat, incidentally). The courts even declare that the rest of the bl**dy EU is such a state!!!

It is from within this cesspool that Mrs Blair, QC, and her band of legal slime in her company, the Matrix Chambers, are making their millions by spinning out the appeals of these rascal 'asylum seekers' with no justifiable cases, and other irresponsible scum seeking 'justice' (= money, money, gimme, gimme) from the courts.

We have even recently had a jailor lose his job for openly referring to UBL as 'a terrorist', that just might have caused offence to some jail-visiting Muslims who just might have overheard. Fergawdsake. Give me strength to carry on in this once proud and patriotic country as it descends into the politically correct, ineffectual morass of irrational idealism, socialism, and leaderless Europe.

You Yanks take good note, don't follow us in the UK. From what I read on this site, I am sure there is enough backbone still around over there ensure that you will not!

IN HOT, Release, 50:50 - no line error - OUT.

The "Electoral College" was the fault that got us into this mess, an antiquated law (much like most of the left over British Commonwealth junk in Asian law) that should have been discarded after losing it's relevance. We are dangerously close to being caught up in the same old game of choosing a candidate because he looks good, and his wife is supportive and submissive. The most impressive thing I have witnessed in this good old boy(?) race is Judy Dean stating that she has a life and a career. This says to me that she does not wish to take on the role of surrogate mother to a country of thumb sucking dependents. As for Cherie Blair, Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush, their right of opinion is theirs. For a little fictional paradigm shift for those of us that vote, let's say the prez's wife will be the Vice President, now who would you cast your ballet for? Sorry, but you Brits felt the same way about our forefathers, we mixed it up in America, no real blue blood left. That at the present time is not our main issue, only a smokescreen to divert from the real issues of having our Constitution and basic rights upended.
Cheers

You true Britons are going to have to form a new Government and Constituiton under the wire so to speak, working at the grass roots and overthrow the system over there. If its true the 75 percent of Brits, would like some change, you 75 per centers are going to have to coalesce and cleanse your country. They can't kill all of you, they would have no population to govern....unless Sharia gets imposed first!

I can certainly understand your frustration, 5050. But one thing I've learned from the study of English history is that one can never, ever count the British out. The spirit of Edmund Burke and Winston Churchill lives on, even in these dark times. You yourself are proof of that.

As you may be aware, the French held a death penalty plebiscite roughly 30 years ago and the result was quite similar to yours. Naturally, their ruling elite abolished capital punishment, proving that the haughty spirit of the Bourbons lives on in the guise of socialist meddling.

It's been over 200 years since your Glorious Revolution. You may be about due for another one, this time against Parliament.

That should read, "...over 300 years since your Glorious Revolution."

Mea culpa.
