The real key behing the breakup of marriage are the child support laws.

There is an old addage about having sex before marriage, "Why buy the cow if you can get the milk for free".

Now this saying holds true more for women than for men. Why should they remain married to a man once they have had his child. They can get his money (the milk) for free by getting a child support order. If they have more than one child by him, they don't get much more money. If they move on to another partner, then they get the same base additional amount all over again. Basically they can raise their standard of living by 30% for each man they catch.

In the low end of the child support tax brackets, what is the incremental rate of support? $70 for every $100 of gross income under current Louisiana law !!!

It is because there is a whole feminist studies camp which has taught young women's brains full of much that a father is only relevant as a checkbook. These female minds full of mush have no concept of fatherhood OR motherhood.

They do not see the day to day result in the prisons. (the vast majority in prison were fatherless)

Divorce treats marriage like the cashout value of an insurance policy. The bigger better deal is available in the next marriage. If you ever hear the sarcastic feminist talk of men, it is nothing more than sperm donors or check books. HOwever the good news is that these feminists are more and more childless. They are not having children, no man will marry them. (the will use them for sex but not marriage or having children.)

It is a dawinian come upance.
