Neos are not Republican nor Conservative.
Bush is in for a rude awakening... I am willing to deal with four years of Kerry if it gets the message across to the GOP.

WOW! Now that's the strongest statement I've read on FR to date. Just WOW.

The earliest this country can have a decent President is January 2009. I still don't know what the best option is to preserve our sovereignty between now and then.

How about this as an alternative--raise so much hell that the horrible immigration plan doesn't even get out of committee. That's likely to occur even without a lot of hell being raised. Most politicians can read a 70 percent poll and know which way to vote. I don't know what the gene is in the Bush family that decides to take a high approval rating and throw it away, but they have it. Still, the stupidity of one proposal will not mean that a vote for Kerry or Edwards would be a better alternative.

The consequences of a Democrat winning the Presidency in November are not what this country needs.
Abortions will continue for sure ; any potential Supreme or other Federal Court appointments will lean liberal , continuing the Judicial tyranny we so much want to end ; you can bank on that any new immigration law proposals will be even worse than what GW is trying to pass ; we will no doubt suck up to the UN`s a** ; the push to join the World Court will continue ; taxes "will" go up ; smaller government - you know you can completely forget about that ; gun rights will be under greater risk ; the homosexual/lesbian agenda`s will take center stage ... this to just name a few.
President Bush can be kept in check by a "controlling" Congress. Focus on Congress more than the Presidency. Support those in Congress that tow the "Conservative" agenda. And make sure they hear your concerns. Phone them, email them, write letters to them, donate to their campaigns!! There are many in Congress that don`t support the President on this issue. Find them and give them your support. But a Bush loss this November will not help "your" cause.
This is just my take on it. Take it the way you want. But please don`t come back and bash me. I won`t respond to that.

Do you really think that if Kerry wins, that anybody will interpret it as a message to the GOP? Are you kidding me? A Democratic victory will be perceived as the nation turning Democrat, and nothing else.

Can you, with the peril this nation faces from rogue states, really trust a John Kerry to stay the course?
Whatever the flaws of George W. Bush, and there are many, there is no doubt he tries to do wht he thinks is best for this country.
I mention the terrorist threat, because if the terrorists win, then the deficits and spending will not matter.
I am one who does not like President Bush's profligate ways, but I also think the security of our nation comes first, so that the debates on these other issues can continue.
