Then these gals want to call pity parties for themselves because their plans backfired.

These women are speaking from bitter experience, trying to warn others away from making the same mistake they did.

Well lets see this thread was posted exactly one year and one day ago. Anyone who doesn't understand that abortion is a huge mistake which will impact them greatly for their rest of their lives is an idiot.

The only women who I have any sorrow for, who have had abortions, are women who have been raped.

They were victims. Period.

They never got a choice- the rest want to have choice and choice and choice again- and the right to kill on top of that.

To a great extent abortion is culturally touted as more legitimate than adoption or actually raising the kid yourself. If these women were raised in an environment where there's no warnings of the negative consequences, then there's little reason to expect they'll know fully the extent of the evil until after the act. None of us has the power to forgive their actions, but we can learn from their experience.

So people have no natural instincts anymore and are only the byproducts of their home environment?

Pure baloney.

I have been Pregnant twice.... I knew that my life would be forever altered if anything happened to my babies. No one had to spell it out for me. Ever.

Good for you. I can only guess that most women are exactly the same way. Women who have abortions are acting against the single greatest instinct a woman can have. Women who have abortions and say they don't regret it are lying, sociopathic, or numbed to their own sinfulness.

And the fact is there is sufficient cultural legitimizing of aborition to give millions of women some false sense that it's ok to kill their baby.

Same thing with sex in general. Sexually promiscuous people are living a spiritually dead lifestyle, but looking around at all the cultural legitimization, they can go on about their promiscuous business, telling themselves that the nagging voice in their head is just an uptight conscience. After dealing with the generally-unspoken mental, phsyical, and spiritual consequences of promiscuity, they can figure out that they've been had, so to speak.

None of this excuses bad behavior. But it's only realistice to look around and see how millions of women, operating in a selfish mode to begin with, can be duped into thinking that it's ok to kill the kid. Our culture (popular culture) celebrates selfishness, scorns Judeo-Christian morals, and doesn't say boo about the consequences of living like that.
