What a joke. The offer of a "plea" was nothing more than an offer to be ordered into treatment - something he already was doing. This would, in fact, resolve a similar situation in 90% of first offender cases. This is an admission of nothing that Rush hasn't already publicly admitted.

The prosecutor is on a political witch hunt.

The prosecutor who leaked this to the press would be in jail in most jurisdicitions. They must feel very sure that the judges in Palm Beach are under control of the Democrat machine.

I think that the world has been promised Barry Krischer by some powerful Democrat if they get Rush convicted of something.

On top of that, I believe that this is typical liberal projecting, in that they doubtless believe that Katherine Harris was similarly pandered to. I personally don't believe that, but I sure am glad she's not running for Senate now -- that would have lent credence to that school of thought.
