I watched on the DittoCam today and Rush was NOT garbled. But he did talk with his mouth full of cigar on occassion. That is what made him sound funny. He was being lazy and not taking out his cigar when he talked with a caller.

I heard that and could tell he had something in his mouth. I have access to ditto-cam but didn't use it today. I have heard what sounds to me like the stress of pain in his voice. He seems pretty darn sharp to me but gee whiz why would he be distracted? He's been through re-hab, he doesn't have meds for pain, the FL AG is floating from one contemplated charge to another, the AG is leaking things to left-wing hit-piece journalists, his med. records were subpoened in a case where that's highly unusual ...

He sounds more hard edged to me too and I accredit that to his re-hab experience. He has said it was a tough yet fulfilling experience. He's taking a lot less guff from idiots these day. I like it!
