I must have missed something along the way…I’m not saying that to be flippant…I REALLY must have missed something. Stop me when I go wrong:

Iraq Invaded Kuwait
The UN authorized a coalition to run Iraq out
Iraq made an agreement for a cease fire
Part of that agreement was for weapons inspectors
They didn’t uphold the agreement
We went back in and finished the job

and

Iraq had WMD
They never let the inspector verify that they got rid of them
We can reasonably assume they still had them
