Ease up bud, If I lived in California I would have voted for who ever could defeat Grey Davis, I would have waited for the very last Poll results to come in, and vote for whoever was leading in the Polls that opposed that spineless worm. A large part of this problem can be blamed on California, and not the Federal Government. I remember all too well how California begged for assistance from the federal Govt and after they got the help, they took the federal Tax Dollars and deposited them into the general account and diverted the funds to pay for more social entitlements.

The States have always blamed all their problems on the Federal government and the federal Representatives of those states continually earmark millions of Federal tax money in their feeble attempt to avoid addressing this problem.

I believe it's the responsibility of each state to enforce the laws that apply to our Borders. I firmly believe that the reason why the federal Government has been forced to get involved in things like education and agriculture issues that our founding Fathers declared as the number one priority and responsibility for the States to deal with.

This problem is a direct result of Governors who failed to address this problem on the State Level and simply kicked the can down the road as they lobbied their U.S. Senate and House leaders to load an important piece of legislation with pork that would shelter these governors from the scrutiny of those who elected them.

The protection of the national border is the State's responsibility, and education should be handled by the Feds!!!!!
