[history]
The president made many valid points as he went on the offensive in this final State of the Union speech of his first term in office. He defended his policies and decisions, including the right of the United States to defend itself.

Don't bother trying to debate with South40. Notice every other word is an insult? It's the same MO in every single post it writes.
That's the sure sign of someone that knows they don't have a leg to stand on so have to resort to name-calling and childish remarks.

I don't think he "glossed over it" In fact, he specifically said he was against amnesty.Just like he's against "big government" and yet his spending has skyrocketed to Clintonian levels?
Sorry, but his deeds have long rendered his words useless.

Unless I was asleep I don't recall him granting amnesty to anyone. At least you could hold your hysteria until he does!

and does that apply to this presidential election?.. that there are only two realistic choices? The President and the democrat nominee? South40 more than understands that. He and others spent a lot of time on the Arnie threads explaining it to everyone else. He just seems to have forgotten it temporarily. But his friends are helping him to remember right now.
So don't worry l4d. W could announce amnesty tomorrow, raise South40's taxes to pay for the program and provide medical insurance for them since they will be working low paying jobs and not be able to afford it, and South40 would vote for him.
It's in the bag!

DOn't you see what he's doing, he's taking away ammo from the libs. Same with Campaign finance reform, same with last year's budget. He's doing that so that we can appear compassionate, get the economy chugging along nicely enough so that we gain enough seats so that once he's re-elected we can steamroll the GOP agenda through in his second term (make tax cuts permanent, school vouchers, fill the judiciary with strict constructionist types that will uphold traditonal values and not be rubberstamps for the Democratic party and the ACLU (et al). It will all happen, all in good time...

I don't know what your problem is, whether it's a chemical addiction or what. But you obviously have one.
You've just returned from being temporarily banned. Yet it's clear your mission here is to harrass. Stop spamming my comments page with your lunacy or I'll be forced to ask the administrators to take action to stop you.

you never really admit to saying anything... i asked you a couple of days ago what it was you were trying to convey when you posted that picture of those latin men holding up licenses, (with the "thank you, Bush" caption--not word for word)... and you never answered me nor Naspino... and i really did want to know... i wasn't trying to start an argument with you... Naspino thought he knew, but then you implied he was wrong... but never did say what it was really all about... i'm still curious... There are some here whose idea of fun is to spam others comments page rendering it impossible to respond to every post. You obviously read the thread and my responses in it so you know I said it means whatever you want it to mean. As for your opinion of my writing style; whatever.

He already has both houses of congress and the WH, what else does he need? Sorry, but I have been hearing the same type of BS from the Reps longer than I care to recall. They are no different than the Dems.

what? so your answer is what? are you one of those people who, when asked, "what is wrong?" answers with, "well, if you don't know, i'm not telling you."??? i just really wanted to finally know what "you" really meant by your pic, not "whatever 'i' really want it to mean." what kind of meaning is that?
To: latina4dubya
I've already explained it...twice. If you can't think for yourself I'm not going to do it for you.

I live in Salisbury and was pleasantly surprised by the positive editorial on President Bush's SOTU address. This is not the norm for our paper. Although we are in a conservative part of Maryland, the Daily Times tends to lean very liberal in their editorials.
I hope this means they may be a little more balanced in the future.

In another post you wrote:...
But why am I arguing the point? You're incapable of hearing.
So why did you ping me to this thread yet?
Do you see how illogical you are?
Trust me...everyone else does.

That you don't remember posting it is understandable. That you couldn't find it on your own does come as a bit of a surprise.
I suggest you lay off the sauce, or whatever chemical dependence has robbed you of your memory and ability to reason.
