I lean more towards the frightening. Considering Bush's close call last time and his determination to alienate voters, one of them just might win.

Alright, if by your definition, a pogrom is stricly a mult-day violent mob action, and is only by gentiles against Jews, then, yes, Crown Heights is the first one in American history. But American history is rife with other mob actions against other ethnic or religious groups. Compared to Mormons, Irish, Italians, Chinese, blacks, and Indians, Jews have gotten by without a lot of antipathy leading to violence in the United States.

Thanks for the info. Makes sense now.
It's always hard to lose a child. Interesting but I also lost my daughter, (to cancer) who also completed the three week rigorous Outward Bound course while she was still in high school. It tends to change people, forever.
Thanks again.

Hey, get this, evidently Kerry is a veteran, who knew? That was sarcasm, right?

Lieberman seems to be doing best on overall presentation and style points. (me)Wow..thats some deep analysis. (you)
This was an important debate that would help determine if Dean was still in the contest and possibly GWB's challenger. I didn't request, or wish to give, paragraphs of deep analysis, but when insight into Edwards' non-answers, Clark's unsteadiness, Kerry's blandness, were squeezed in-between a tiresomesome avalance of unfunny wisecracks, I felt compelled to speak up. Others, more adept, at expressing political insight began stepping forward later in the thread.
I know my own limitations when it comes to artfully expressing my ideas. That is why I try to minimize the damage.

I was just throwing some heat your way based on your earlier post.
I could not watch the debate & read all 2400 posts. Yes, intitially, I too wanted a little more substance in the posts. However, these are Democrat clowns . For most conservatives, trying to post an honest assessment without criticizing these communists is impossbile. So, I read each post and laughed all the way through the end. I then went to DU to see what those sodomites thought of the debate. DU assessment is what really matters as those America haters are the ones who vote in the Dem primaries.
Take care
Bunker
