I arrived in Australia (Sydney) on Australia Day of '98, then flew on to Perth...my wise travel agent had booked me a great room with a view of the Swan River so I could enjoy the most fantastic fireworks and aerobatic shows I'd ever seen.
It was a great way to arrive and wind down from the long trip over!
