If you leave your door open, and someone comes in and steals your belongings, it is theft?

Of course it is theft. Someone has taken something of yours and you no longer have it. It is gone. You do not have it any longer.

This is not what happened here. Nothing is missing. Everything that was there before the incident is still there.

All your analogies are seriously flawed. Your thinking is flawed. Try again.
