...mentioning the illegal-alien crime wave. “We can’t even talk about it,” says a frustrated LAPD captain. “People are afraid of a backlash from Hispanics.” Another LAPD commander in a predominantly Hispanic, gang-infested district sighs: “I would get a firestorm of criticism if I talked about [enforcing the immigration law against illegals].” Neither captain would speak for attribution.

The Police are afraid to uphold the law. They are arresting the illegals who are criminals, but the judges are coming down on the Police. Is this the "law" President Bush swore to uphold?

A real man of the people this Dictator Bush. He is a friend of a horrible dictator V. Fox and a horrible and corrupt Mexican government. Bush wants to turn America into Mexico so he can secure a couple of voting blocks. I would rather have a Democrat do this to us than a Republican!! Now this is the type of criminal behavior we have to expect and accept from the Republicans as well as the Democrats? We no longer have any representation!!

President Bush seems to be putting the welfare of illegals before that of his own citizens.

Perhaps someone should remind him he was elected President of The United States of America and it's citizens, not of tourists, visitors, foreign students, holders of work visas, foreign diplomats and illegal border crossers that are citizens of and hold allegiance to foreign governments.
