Monroe County Judge Mark Pazuhanich openly cried Thursday when a minor offered a description of what happened at a concert in Wilkes-Barre last November.
Pazuhanich was emotional as he faced his accusers in Luzerne County Thursday and a judge said the case will go to trial.
The Monroe County judge showed up in Wilkes Barre for a hearing on the charges against him. Pazuhanich is accused of molesting a minor and public drunkenness at a Hillary Duff concert at the F.M.Kirby Center in Wilkes Barre in November.
The Luzerne County district attorney's office made its case with three people, the alleged victim, a woman who said she sat near Pazuhanich and a security guard. As Pazuhanich sobbed, the alleged victim told the court that he fondled her twice during the show.
The woman who said she sat near Pazuhanich said she saw the alleged molestation.
The judge then decided there is enough evidence to send the case to trial.
"The case will go through the judicial process the way every case does," said Ingrid Cronin, Luzerne County Assistant District Attorney.
Pazuhanich was sworn in as judge earlier this month. It was controversial because of the case. He was elected judge before his arrest. At this time, Pazuhanich is not hearing cases in Monroe County. He is assigned to administrative duties until his criminal case is settled.
He spoke to reporters after the hearing Thursday and said he will be back at work in the Monroe County courthouse Friday morning.
I'm really wondering what is the "judge's" relationship to the little girl. I'm betting step-daughter, but that's just a guess.
Ecce homo.
According to the Pocono Record you can drop the "step."
Vile.
