Exactly right. If Bill Clinton had done the things you named and many others you didn't, the people here praising Bush would have been absolutely HOWLING with indignation. In my world we call that hypocrisy. Disengenuous. If Bill Clinton was doing the things that offend you so much, YOU WOULD AT LEAST HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE -- vote GOP.
Once you "break the party," as so many of you want to do, what are your options then, since nobody with extreme views will EVER be elected.
You can do it, too: tell me exactly how this country will be a better place when you hand the little power we have back to the Dems?

since nobody with extreme views will EVER be elected. My "extreme views" were where the GOP House was, back in 1994.
It's not MY fault that the GOP has moved so far left since then that they've damn near fallen off the edge.

The party is broken. I and others are hoping to give the powers that be a wake up call. They cannot ignore conservatives, or it will hurt them.

Sorry, but if you look back over my comments on this issue I never once said anything about voting for anybody else. I was merely pointing out the absurdity of defending Bush on these things when you know darn well you would have been screaming had a Democrat done the same.
