There's not a dime's worth of difference between you all and Democrats these days.

When you boil it down, both Bushbots and bashbots hurl exactly this same charge at each other, sometimes hundreds of times in a thread like this one.

Well, that was kind of my point. These people say that all the time about Republicans - but who sounds just like the Democrats around here?

They do.

And it's getting old.

It seems that no one will ever change the others mind here. I voted for Bush; I won't next time. He is not a conservative and the Congressional Republicans are a bunch of spineless cowards. It's all a power game for the Folks in Washington and who can sucker their constituates into voting for them again next election by pretending to believe what their followers believe in. I'm tired of the games. I'm tired of the mindless devotion by people for both parties. It's like a religion: people will never change their minds because they have founded their lives upon their chosen parties. Bush was needed for this country: he brings decency and honesty and integridy to an office that was debased by the clintons. For that, I am grateful to him. He defended this country in a time when we needed to show the world that we would not be bullied and not fight back. Gore would still be asking the UN's permission to respond to 911. That being said, I believe Bush is threatening our sovernty by allowing illegals amnesty and has done next to nothing to make the government smaller. You've heard my rant before, and knowing it will do no good, I will write no more about it. I just want to repeat that I am on your side here, but I believe that the Republicans are no longer the way to go to forward conservative principles. They will never change as long as people vote for them regardless of what they do. I apologize to all if I got testy with them. :)
