The first part of the article is interesting. Wonder what Mike thinks about all this?

Heck, he's not even half the dog show announcer that David Frei is. (Perhaps because he's only half as knowledgable as David.) And Ron knows even less about political truth.
To: ConservativeMan55
Even with the former President's failing faculties, Ron is still not half the man intellectually, that is his father.

I guess talent does skip a generation. At least this guys kids will be squared away.

Reagan has always been a vocal opponent of his father's political party, but never as much as he is now. He told me he will write an article of undetermined length for Esquire explaining why George W. Bush should not be re-elected. One reason, I inferred, was that Bush has blocked stem-cell research for diseases such as Alzheimer's. Reagan is extremely clear about his feelings on this subject, since his father, who will turn 93 next month, has been felled by this insidious illness.
"It's unbelievable that Bush doesn't approve stem-cell research," Reagan said.
Here is the crux of the matter. I'd stake my immortal soul that his father would be in complete agreement with GWB.

You're right, it's so very sad. The Reagans marriage was certainly not blessed with the type of children one hopes for. I wonder why is it that so many times very brilliant and great people have such disappointing children?

A non-partisan lobbying group at the Sundance Film Festival? If I'm not mistaken, the Sundance Film Co. is run by Robert Redford, hardly a non-partisan group. And it's hardly surprising that Ron Reagan would be penning an ant- Bush column.
