MOSCOW, Russia --Russian troops have retrieved 10 tons of beer trapped under Siberian ice, the Itar-Tass news agency has reported.
The truck carrying the beer sank when trying to cross the frozen Irtysh river, near the Siberian city of Omsk, around 2,200 km (1,400 miles) from Moscow.

My beer fridge is on the deck. I keep the fridge at about 30 degrees, and the temperature outside hasn't cleared freezing since January 5th. Last weekend, freeper Pete-R-Bilt and I had some very very tasty Rolling Rock slushies.
Mmmmmmmm... slushies.

I think I will start a beer rescue business. For when trucks of beer sink to the bottom of rivers, no matter where in the world it happens.

They were absolutely wonderful :o)
I've now set up a lab. I put a thermometer in the fridge, and have a case of miller in cans sacrificing themselves for science as we speak.
