It isn't based on mysticism at all. It is based on fact. The bible has been proven right many times by archaeological findings. I remember a teacher telling me (back in the 50's) that Pontius Pilate was a "legendary" figure and didn't really exist. Years later I read where a corner stone was discovered with his name on it and was dated at the time the bible tells us he was Procurator of Jerusalem.

Christianity is not mysticism it is an acknowledgment of the truth that Christ is "THE ONLY WAY" to "PARADISE" (read eternal life).

I'll bet that you know the difference between reality and fantasy. All you need to do now is apply what you know in that regard to ... religous beliefs.
