Read somewhere that a meeting took place between binladin and the iranians in may 2001 as per the Iranian intel guy.

Hmmm...

Assume the meeting with Osama's son is true...there are other explanations...like Iranian diplomacy with Afghanistan, over which Osama was a kind of ruler...or deals on jihadi transportation to Causasus, etc.

I recall Khatami seemingly shocked with 9/11.

And lots of Iranians want a reason to nail the Mullahs, as if there weren't enough reasons...
