At a beanery called Frank's just off the interstate, 16-year-old Patrick Catoe sits at a window table, raving about the new love in his life and, in romantic detail, describing the night they met in Boston and the fun they had the previous weekend doing what a lot of young couples do: fantasizing about their wedding. Naturally he has a photograph.

One of these mopes had better find a cure for cancer. Then we can talk about how they made the world a better place for all of us.

First of all, I'm really glad that this guy is comfortable with himself.

Second of all, I cannot wait for the day that these organizations start sticking up for all the gay 3rd and 4th graders out there.

Thirdly, I cannot help but wonder if this kid's significant other is/was committing statutory sodomy against this kid.

We sure live in a sick society.

"I know now that one day I'll dance with my mom at my wedding," Catoe says, "and thank you, government, for finally making it OK."

This last line shows precisely what same sex marriage is all about -- getting government endorsement for homosexual activity. It is not in the least bit about freedom. These individuals could live together as man and wife and feel "married" if they so desired. The government is not stopping it. Since people have a right to different views on the morality of homosexual activity, I think the government should be neutral, not give its imprimatur. Why doesn't anyone make this libertarian argument against same sex marriage?

"The main thing for young gay people," he says of the court's decision, "is that it gives kids, like, you know -- wow! -- there's hope for the future. I mean, I can live a normal life."

No, you can't. Not this way.

This is solely due to the New York Times's Anthony Lewis and his wife,
the Chief Judge of Massachusetts who invented gay marriage
after she received her green card and her orders from the New York Times.

Moron. Dreaming of marriage right after meeting some guy at 16.

I blame the Boston Globe for locking this 16 years old boy into his childish dreams by putting this in black and white. How low of an age will they go with this? The article impies that fourteen wouldn't be too young to consider a boy locked in.

This really is, or should be regarded as, a scandalous article. First in Boston, soon coming to your town.

Did not read past the title but can you just imagine the divorce transcript(s) in the making? This is my biggest gripe about same sex marriage. The court are already full of he said - she said, now, soon to be followed by:

he said - he said,
she said - she said,
it said - she said,
it said - he said,
and
it said - it said.

Talk about cat fights in the making. They will end up bring back that TV show Divorce Court.

Normal life? What are they smoking? As long as these CHILDREN are reinforced into the deviant lifestyle they will never have a normal life. It is an alternative lifestyle. Altered from norm.

Homosexual marriages are about a private sexual act made public. These CHILDREN need serious psychological treatment. As minors parents can incarcerate them for treatment without a court order. If the mother or father has insurance they will pay for it.
