I hope the majority of people see it our way, because if not we could be in for a scenario the likes of which we haven't begun to imagine.

You know, my parents were kids growing up in Italy during WW II. My Mom was 11 when the war broke out and my father 17. During the final year of the war, the Germans forced them out of their homes so they could be used to garrison their soldiers, and my Mom and Dad and every person in their village lived on the lam for a year.

When the war was over and they returned home, the Germans had burned all of their furniture to the ground. When I say all, that doesn't comprise very much because poverty at that time and place was rampant. While I never experience War first hand myself, I almost feel like I have because my parents kept those memories so alive.

What I'm really trying to say, is that people who don't know the difference between survival and surrender are ineducable, and I pray to the Good Lord that they not prevail.
