To: A Citizen Reporter
Well, I said "shadow" :^). But, it wasn't the engineering of a "movable type" press that was the elegant invention, it was the seizure of the dissemination of public information away from the despotic control of Kings, Popes and other authority figures that made the printing press one the most influential human inventions of all time. The concept, not the vehicle.

Sure, I think we are saying the same thing. I'd agree with that, but I'm not willing to say that Drudge was the concept....I guess.....
