Referring to your comment about Pelosi having 5 kids...Remember her daughter (Alexandria? I think--not sure of her first name) did a video of the 2000 campaign trail with George W. Bush, and it turned out very well. Not defending Nancy Pelosi (no WAY), but her liberal daughter did show a charming and frank portrait of Bush that only enhanced his image.

Quick question: did Bush spill Cheney's water last night after the speech? I was arguing with a Dem at work today, and he claims that, as Bush went shake Cheney's hand, he knocked over the veep's glass of water. Supposedly, it ran all over Cheney's papers. I did not see this, and it seems that the media would have gleefully reported it.

You know I support FR 100% and I love this place for the most part...but this place is running mad with Bush Blindness. It's like Conservatives have little to no respect or voice on this site anymore and that is sad.

I don't see conservatives being censored here very often. I am a bit tired of those who think they have a monopoly on conservative issues, and label anybody who disagrees with them as Bush-bots.

I think there's plenty of room for disagreement here. At least as far as most posters go.

I have seen some censorship by those running the site, but that happens in any online forum.

Most well-meaning people here think they can defend the Republic by reinterpreting the original intent to separate church from state. In time, the more scrupulous ones will realize that it's a trap. Those of us who know it already must watch the train wreck in slow motion.

This small but significant example supports my argument: apparently no one has the courage to say that mosques have no business receiving our tax dollars to spend on the death cult. Later, we'll decide that Wiccans and Muslims can't have money. Then there will be a bitter argument over Catholics and Protestants.

And so it will go. Luckily, I think we can handle each one of these arguments as they arise. But in the meantime, Islamic activists are getting my tax dollars and yours so that we can demonstrate our desire to show faith.

In any case, the Republicans and their well-meaning "ministries" are far preferable to the Democrats and the America-firsters. Meanwhile, who has the courage to demand an end to federal mosque support?
