It is just too easy to shoot cynical comments at this (should I accessorize with a suicide bomb belt or AK? or should I wear the blue burka or the red one?) but hopefully it may do some good for Muslim girls to see themselves as more than property or invisible.

At the very least, it is one more step to American Balkanization, and if there is any good in the concept at all, some imam will pervert it.

Especially in "Little Arabia" (Southeast MI), where most of the girls that these kids go to school with are All American Kids, perhaps having a Barbie type doll to play with will make them see just normal.
Sent overseas, they could be a the doll that saves the girl.

I do really like this. My daughter was in a school in Sterling Heights MI with MANY Arab kids. I may get her the In and Out Doll for her birthday.
