I believe it is the opposite. If marijuana gets legalized, it will triple in strength.

But as long as dope is smoked, it will not be legalized. Not while tobacco is being made illegal. My guess is that marijuana will be legalized when they can get into a different form like drinking it. Forget Red Bull; try Red Bud!

You're mistaken---it was Prohibition that boosted the poularity of hard liquor relative to beer and wine. And this is simple economics: criminalization boosts the relative value of highly-concentrated goods over less-concentrated goods.
