I don't know why you keep thinking that I'm referring to the 1972 immaculate reception loss to the Steelers. I'm not. It was the NEXT year that the Raiders started their string of 5 straight AFC championship game appearances, losing 4. Stabler was the QB in all of them.

As far as Miami's fake punt, I vaguely remember watching the game, but the only thing I remember about it was the kickoff return for a TD Miami had to open the game. I think I was 5 or 6, so forgive me for not remembering the fake punt.

Correction: the Miami KO return for a TD was the Miami win over Oakland, not the Steelers. I misread the original post, and no, I don't remember the Miami/Steelers AFC championship game.
