When the Roman Empire collapsed, warlords quickly stepped to fill the need to provide a sense of justice to the locals. They had had enough of civil government from a distant corrupt capital. The European Union is that corruption forming again. It is led by lunatics who sympathetically coddle criminals like Anna Lindh’s killer, provide Muslims protection like the KLA against the Serbs, and grind the small businessman (probably lots of small mom and pop Jewish business) into the earth. When warlords come, they will again be a welcome relief.

The case isn't being handled by the EU court. It's a Swedish case. But I confess to having some strong reservations re: the Union myself. If the proposed Constitution isn't intended to rebuild the Soviet Union in Europe, what is it?
