The only message that is sent with a "protest vote" is an "encouragement vote" to Democrats.
The time for such votes is AFTER the democrat party is obliterated. 2004 should be seen as the year democrats are wiped off the electoral landscape.
When the democrat party is dead, burried and irrelevant; then and only then will a conservative protest vote have meaning.
