You're getting off to a bad start, deadhead. Billie's going to feel slighted because she's not on top. :-)

Oh my colleen....someone new for TTM to pick on...maybe that will take the heat off of some of us "oldies but goodies" :)

I wake up to a California dreamin' Monday Monday, the sky is gray, the pave is wet and shiney from a light and refreshing rain....makes me lazy.

How well you put that...

Hmmm...if'n I remember right, today is the Iowa raucus ruckus caucus...wonder if John Effing Kerry, who served in Vietnam, will win , place or show.

And then right after that....this LOL! Fortunately I was not drinking a sip of my coffee when I saw that LOL! BTW...Tonight should be a treat!

May the loving Almighty God bless and protect our troops, our President, our Nation, and all the Finest

Amen....

Rus...the cabinet doors are simply beautiful...We have a large Amish community here.....and had one carpenter customize our kitchen cabinets....We absolutely love them. I believe woodworking is truly an art.

Snow AND cold here. But...somehow the cold is easier for me to tolerate when there is white fluffy snow on the ground...

Hi, I'm looking for a prayerful bunch. My son is just fresh into Iraq this last week, and I'm recruiting folks to pray for him.

Thanks much.

FREEDOM

Freedom is a breath of air,
Pine-scented, or salty like the sea;
Freedom is a field new-plowed...
Furrows of democracy!

Freedom is a forest,
Trees tall and straight as men.
Freedom is a printing press...
The power of the pen!

Freedom is a country church,
A cathedral's stately spire;
Freedom is a spirit
That can set the soul on fire!

Freedom is man's birthright,
A sacred, living rampart;
The pulse beat of humanity...
The throb of a nation's heart!

"Hi, I'm looking for a prayerful bunch. My son is just fresh into Iraq this last week, and I'm recruiting folks to pray for him."

Welcome to The Finest Family Room, where many are veterans or families of military/veterans, and prayers are gladly given to one and all for any needs!

We have a daily rectangular prayer graphic which lists Free Republic posters and their spouses/children/relatives who are on active duty, and is a reminder to lift them up with prayers.

Thank you for bringing your son to our attention, so he can be added to the Roster. We gladly intercede for them, and for those who, like you, love them.

Please join us often as we celebrate the Finest things about America, and one another.
