This was one of the messages delivered by both a national and a local speaker at First Baptist Church of Bossier City on Sunday in an event commemorating National Sanctity of Life Day, which typically falls near the Jan. 22 anniversary of the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortions.

Slowly, slowly we climb up out of this mess. Just read the chapter of Zell Miller's book where he details his own change of heart on the subject. It seems to hit people when abortion becomes a real possibility (or, sadly, a reality) in their own families.
