I read this on FR a while ago. I love when the media finds something that has already been reported (though admittedly not widely) and casts it as a scoop.

There's another "other shoe" on Clark, which hasn't yet dropped -- it's those "serious character issues" hinted at by Gen. Hugh Shelton.

Here's the story: apparently Clark has quite a reputation for sleeping with his subordinates' wives. It would not at all surprise me to learn that this was a factor in his being replaced early.

The last thing Clark needs is that particular comparison with his pal Bill Clinton. It would kill his candidacy deader than hell.

So watch and wait for it....

The bag of stuff against Clark is overstuffed to the point of tearing. He wont be president.

If he were a republican I would agree with you, but he's running for the democrat nomination. After what happened with Clinton we know that the dems love that stuff. He'd probably increase his point share by 20%.

"...Which raises the interesting issue of who Dean might take if he gets the nomination..."

Dean will not survive to the nomination. The klintoons have selected Clark as pres candidate and hildabeaste as v-p candidate, to be worthy opponents in 2004, and they will not relinquish control of the DNC to Dean.

Remember these people. It doesn't matter who, or how many people die or get ruined, as long as they regain control.

And having Chris, 'I didn't get this mouth by sucking pop bottles', Lehane in your neighborhood is like finding a rabid skunk on a subway car.................FRegards
