The author displays a complete ignorance of basic economics in this rambling and scattered piece. In addition, he favorably quotes Rubin and Krugman, no friends of the free market.
The U.S. will grow its way out of its deficit.
Let's have another tax cut.

No disagreement there. He could have found better sources.
" The U.S. will grow its way out of its deficit."
The government deficit? Never. The consumer deficit? Only via default.
" Let's have another tax cut."
It's needed desperately. But it will not happen.

The U.S. will grow its way out of its deficit. Not if the Republicans don't stop their drunken spending spree.
Let's have another tax cut.
Ok by me. And a much larger spending cut to go with it.
Like that'll happen, with the free-spending Republicans in charge.

Let's have another tax cut.I agree. I also think that we ought to colonize the moon. I'm for backrupting the nation as soon as possible rather than this silly debasement of the currency game to delay the day of reckoning.

The U.S. will grow its way out of its deficit. Grow by sending jobs out of the country?

The U.S. will grow its way out of its deficit.
That's what our President is trying to do!
The rest of the world will not chip in to help pay for the $5 billion space initiative, to recover the $1.5 Billion for the promotion of marriage, or pay for the unfunded prescription drug plans in the Medicare program, the TSA's crazy costs, the agriculture Bill, the Dept. of Homeland Security stumbling, the steel tariffs, they aren't going to help promote the proposal to cut U.S. manufacturers taxes nor the horrendously costly "temporary worker" idea.

Quite right. Since the mother of all depressions, the US has weathered it's series of recessions quite well, despite a howling left wing press we have repaired and grown. It is essential that we keep 'dogs' of socialism at bay!
